In short
Al Said is a 155-metre motor yacht that Lürssen delivered in March 2008 as the principal vessel of the Oman Royal Yacht Squadron; she is reported to have been built for Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman (Boat International, February 2025) (Boat International). With a gross tonnage of 15,850 she is the second-largest yacht in the world by internal volume, 67 GT behind Dilbar (YachtBuyer). Espen Øino drew her exterior in the manner of a classic cruise liner, and her best-known feature is a concert hall for a 50-strong orchestra (Boat International). She was listed for sale in 2022 (Boat International) but is not on the market in 2026, and YachtBuyer reports that ownership passed to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq after Sultan Qaboos's death in 2020 (YachtBuyer, YachtBuyer, July 2026).
